RACVB: Misery Loves Company

This spirited, tongue-in-cheek campaign for RACVB took issue with a Forbes Magazine ranking of Rockford as the #3 “most miserable city” in the US. It refuted the claim head-on via bold video, beautiful graphic imagery and tongue-in-cheek wordplay to showcase the Rockford Region’s Real, Original quality of life assets. The project won, “Best 2014 Illinois Tourism Branding,” at the Illinois Governor’s Conference on Tourism, inspired a six-page article about Rockford’s tourism assets in Madison, Wisconsin’s Capitol Times and received kudos from tourism professionals nationwide for its ingenuity, self-confident approach and sense of humor.
